Day 01 – Arrival in Kathmandu & Introduction to Sacred Heritage

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in the heart of Kathmandu. Once you've checked in and had some time to refresh, your cultural journey begins with a guided visit to Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s most sacred Hindu pilgrimage site. Set along the banks of the Bagmati River, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is revered as the seat of Lord Shiva and is frequented by holy sages, known as sadhus. The temple complex features an array of shrines, ancient inscriptions, and cremation ghats, making it a deeply spiritual and historic location.

In the evening, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 02 – Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara & Local Exploration

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara, approximately 210 kilometers west of Kathmandu. The journey takes around 7 hours and offers captivating views of rivers, hills, and rural life. Along the way, you may choose to experience white-water rafting or take a cable car ride to the Manakamana Temple, a revered shrine dedicated to the Goddess of Wishes.

Upon arriving in Pokhara, situated at an altitude of 2,352 feet, you'll enjoy stunning views of the Annapurna range (weather permitting). In the afternoon, visit the Bindhyabasini Temple, one of Pokhara’s oldest and most important religious sites, dedicated to Goddess Durga. Located near the old bazaar, the temple offers a peaceful atmosphere and views of the Himalayas.

Continue to Devi’s Fall, a powerful waterfall especially impressive during the monsoon season. Just across the road lies Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, known for its fascinating limestone formations and sacred Shiva shrine. Please note that photography is not allowed inside the cave.

Day 03 – Sunrise at Sarangkot & Return to Kathmandu

Early in the morning, drive up to Sarangkot, the most popular viewpoint in Pokhara. Located just 13 kilometers from Lakeside and at an elevation of 1,592 meters, it offers a panoramic sunrise view over the snowcapped Himalayan peaks, including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, as well as a sweeping look at the Pokhara Valley below. Sarangkot is also known as a paragliding hotspot for adventure lovers.

After soaking in the views, drive back to Kathmandu following the same picturesque route. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can explore the local markets, enjoy Nepali cuisine, or try your luck at one of Kathmandu’s casinos.

Day 04 – Patan & Swayambhunath Visit + Departure

On your final day, you’ll explore Patan (Lalitpur), a city known for its exquisite Newari architecture and craftsmanship. Located just across the Bagmati River, Patan is home to a wealth of temples and monuments, especially around its vibrant Durbar Square, which boasts the highest concentration of temples in the valley. You’ll also visit the Tibetan Refugee Centre, where you can shop for handwoven carpets and support local artisans.

Later, visit the iconic Swayambhunath Stupa (also known as the Monkey Temple), perched atop a hill with sweeping views of the Kathmandu Valley. This ancient Buddhist site, with its signature all-seeing eyes of the Buddha, is one of the oldest and most symbolic landmarks in Nepal.

After the sightseeing concludes, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
